All secondary schools in Darlington offer a cash cafeteria school meals service. These provide a variety of individually priced dishes including "traditional" main meal dishes, vegetarian dishes, snacks and sandwiches. Pupils whose parents are in receipt of Income Based Job Seekers Allowance are entitled to receive free school meals. Application forms can be obtained from schools. If children require medical therapeutic diets, every effort will be made to accommodate this.
