Choice Mail

"This is the anti-spam software that scares spammers to death" Where not just saying that because the text appears on their website, nor because the company pays us to - in-fact digiportal.com, the company who manufacture and sell the program, probably don't even know we have mentioned it's product on this website... 'Choicemail' truly is the only SPAM blocking tool we recommend.

The program quietly sits running in the background effectively filtering your emails without you even knowing, then when a 'real' email arrives, that hasn't got any of the tell-tale signs of being spam mail, the icon near your clock in the toolbar below flashes green to inform you - you have mail.

The only downside to this program is it can be a bit of a pest to install and does conflict with AVG. You're better-off using one of the virus software digiportal.com recommends.

How do I get it?
There is a FREE download at http://www.digiportal.com/index.html just look down the left-hand navigation panel. Sadly with this free version you can only filter 1 email account, to filter more than one you'll have to fork out the $39.95 or £21.19 in English... But well worth the outlay, if you're as sick of spam-mail as us!

backweb.exe

A program called BackWeb.exe has come to our attention. You may want to keep an eye out for it running quietly in the background on your PC. Whilst it's not a virus ( no virus program will ever uncover it) it's also not a Spy ware program, so Adware will not uncover it either! It is infact a generic, background downloading tool, and it's task is to download data, without your knowledge.

So how might 'Ladhide3.dll' get on to your system?
Believe it or not one way is if you have a Kodak digital camera and installed the sync-software updater. This web sites suggestion to disabling it is good, but we wanted it's complete removal from our system, you may feel the same! If so follow our method.
