Christmas shopping...

It's fast approaching that time of the year AGAIN folks and you'll soon be tempted in to making the same huge mistake many of us have made time & time again by spending your hard earned cash at those big retailers who have it all, helpful knowledgeable shop assistants and ever ending warehouse supplies.... thinking your going to save money and most of all your time.

With a little bit of luck and goodwill this article will hopefully help you to 'give your head a shake' and remind you of one or two little things before you jump in to your car and race up to Teesside to visit the likes of Toy's R Us.

  1. Shop assistants in large stores are seasonal-employees and that knowledgeable shop assistant knows less than your granny.

  2. If you, like many people have to return something for whatever reason to a place like Toy's R Us - good luck, as it really is something you won’t want to experience. Tthey’ll tell you anything to hold on to your cash so - Make sure you know your rights.

  3. Buying gifts of what ever kind at this time of the year is going to cost you dearly. All retailers are going to charge the full RRP no matter what. It’s only as their sales look low that they’ll panic and have an early sale… so hold on in there!

Give it a try this year and shop locally, when was the last time you took a look round Lamb’s Toy Shop?

Keep a lookout for great deals and tell others about them on the DarlingtonTown forum! For instance today we spotted bikes for 66 pound in JJB sports.
