The Careers Service

The Careers Service helps young people to make decisions about their continuing education, employment and training plans, in order that they realise their full potential in adult and working I if e.

Careers Advisers are professionally trained, with a wide knowledge of the available opportunities locally and nationally. The Careers Service has close links with schools, colleges, training providers and employers but is independent and unbiased. It's services are free to young people aged 13-19.

From September 2002 the Careers Service will become part of the new Tees Valley Connexions Service, which will offer young people a much broader range of information, advice and guidance.
